Bangers Never Say Die At Bangkok Tens

The Banger Colts and Vets played their heart out all weekend at the recent Bangkok International Tens however were not able to capture the top prizes. Take nothing away from their effort.

The Colts lost all three games on the Saturday but on the Sunday it was different story. They beat Gaulois XV and INSEAD of Singapore however, lost their final match against the Royal Thai Air Force, a game they were convincingly leading at the break. The airman scored a couple of well worked tries late in the second half to snatch the win

For the Vets it was another story. The won all their pool games however, were beaten in their last match against the Bali Legends, a formidable outfit made up of expats from Singapore and Indonesia. One moment the Vets did savor was the win against the Phuket Viagrabonds, which saw the return of the Weasel Cup to the rightful owners

A great weekend of festival rugby and a tournament the club should be happy to be strategically associated with.
