Bangers Mix With Thai Socialites At Rugby Dinner

The second year for the EADS Trophee (or Trophy) Byron Kelleher Charity Rugby Tournament brought the likes of Rodrigo Capo-Ortega, Serge Betson, Jeremy Castex, Dave Vainqueur and Byron Kelleher to Bangkok for probably the greatest rugby experience of their lives playing for and against the Old Bangkok Bangers.

The evenings wine and dine auction gala kicked off without a hitch to support the Chollada Foundation which provides support for underprivileged women, children, the elderly and the disabled throughout Thailand.

Andrew McDowell, Colts Captain Andrew Raming led a rag tag crew of Bangers who were there sharing the Bangers version of rugby solidarity with Thailand’s socialites (luckily, shenanigans went unnoticed and they were not asked to leave). It was a great evening, with all proceeds going to a great cause.
